This summer again Pula's Amphitheater hosts famous performers

If you are traveling to Pula, there are interesting programs in the ancient Amphitheater already in May. According to current information, this summer again there will be a variety of interesting cultural and entertainment programs. Already in mid May (16.5) the CMC discography festival will be held in the Arena. A day later Pula's Tourism Office organizes gladiator fights in the Arena as part of the increasingly popular “Days of Antiquity” that will be held in our city from May 15-18.

On May 28 Mišo Kovač and his guests will give a concert in the Arena. This year for the 55th time the new edition of the Festival of feature films will be held from July 19-26, and just before the Festival, on July 8, is the concert of Manu Chao. August is reserved for ensemble “Lado” which performs together with the Ukrainian ensemble “Veryovka” on August 8.

The concert of harmony singing groups “klape” which last year, just like all programs in the Arena, was visited by several thousand people will be held on August 16. The popular singer from Rovinj - Tony Cetinski, will hold his first solo concert in the Amphitheater on August 23. On August 30 and 31 the Arena will be the venue of the Colosseum sports festival. The jubilee 20th commemorative event Sergio Blažić - Đoser will be held on September 6.

This year again Histria Festival announces interesting programs, the “small” Histria Festival will be held on June 17, 18 and 19, opera Carmen marks the grand opening of the “big” Festival. On July 13 this renowned festival hosts Buena Vista Social Club and Omar Portuondo, on August 5 is ballet Giselle, whereas the popular Carmina Burana marks the end of Histria Festival.
